Bartolo - Red Wine

Bartolo - Red Wine, from Quinta de São Bartolomeu, is a wine from the Lisbon region made from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Merlot grapes. It has a ruby color and an aromatic profile marked by notes of ripe fruit, in a balanced and very approachable style.

On the palate, it reveals a medium body, good fruit expression and a well-rounded taste, with a smooth finish. The combination of grape varieties contributes to a harmonious whole, in which the structure and intensity of the Portuguese varieties intertwine with the smoothness of the Merlot.

The grapes are harvested between the end of September and October. During winemaking, total destemming is carried out followed by crushing, with fermentation in 7,500-liter vats equipped with a self-programmed pump-over system and temperature control between 24°C and 28°C. The wine ages for six months in oak barrels, a step that contributes to its texture and overall integration.
