Description | BEYRA Chardonnay - White Wine
BEYRA Chardonnay - White Wine is a white wine from the Beira Interior region, produced by Beyra from the Chardonnay grape variety. It originates from the Castelo Rodrigo sub-region, in the village of Vermiosa, where the vines are located in schist soils at an altitude of approximately 650 meters. These conditions help define the wine's profile, giving it freshness, balance, and a very distinctive expression of the territory.
The grapes are harvested manually at the ideal moment of ripeness, then fully destemmed and immediately crushed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with a controlled temperature between 16 and 17 ºC, over 25 days, preserving the aromatic purity and elegance of the grape variety. The wine then ages on fine lees, with batonnage, until bottling at the end of April, contributing to greater complexity and texture on the palate.
A white wine that combines the identity of Beyra with the versatility of Chardonnay, revealing attention to detail and a precise style, ideal for those seeking a white wine with a distinct profile from the Beira Interior region.
