Description | Burmester 10 years - Port Wine
Burmester 10 Years - Port Wine is a tawny port produced in the Porto and Douro region from traditional grape varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca and Tinta Barroca. The grapes are harvested manually at the ideal moment of ripeness, followed by destemming, crushing and careful maceration, designed to favor the extraction of color, tannins and aromas throughout fermentation.
The wine ages in oak barrels for varying periods of time, with the age indicated on the label determined by the average age of the wines that make up the blend. This aging and blending process results in a rich and complex Tawny Port, marked by the typical characteristics of oak aging and a balanced expression of the traditional Douro grape varieties.
Originating from the historic terraced vineyards of the Porto and Douro region, Burmester 10 Years - Port Wine presents itself as a versatile choice at the table. It is a particularly suitable option to accompany appetizers such as intense cheeses and pâtés, enhancing tasting moments with the depth and character characteristic of an aged Port.
