Carm Grand Reserve - Red Wine

Carm Grande Reserva - Red Wine is a Port and Douro wine produced by CARM from the Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Franca grape varieties. Originating from the estate's vineyards in the Douro Superior and produced at Quinta das Marvalhas, it results from a selection of the best bunches for vinification. After total destemming, gentle crushing and thermal shock, the must ferments for about 10 days at a controlled temperature, with part of the fermentation taking place in oak barrels, contributing to its depth and elegance.

On the nose, it reveals notes of wild black berries and cherry, enveloped by hints of licorice and nuances of vanilla from the wood. On the palate, it is concentrated, with firm tannins, a smooth texture and an intense profile, balancing structure and sophistication. The finish is persistent and memorable, leaving a long and captivating impression.

Due to its presence and character, it is an excellent choice to accompany meats, cheeses, and Mediterranean dishes.
