Covela Reserve - White Wine

Covela Reserva - White Wine is a unique white wine from Quinta de Covela, in the Vinho Verde region. Produced from the Avesso, Chardonnay and Arinto grape varieties, it stands out as a blend of great character, where freshness and aromatic depth combine with a careful approach to aging in wood. The grapes are harvested and selected manually, in a rigorous selection process that prioritizes quality and precision from the vineyard.

In the cellar, the wine benefits from cold maceration on the skins, followed by fermentation and aging on lees in French and Austrian oak barrels for approximately 18 months. It is not subjected to stabilization or filtration, an option that seeks to preserve the authenticity and natural expression of the wine. In the glass, it presents a golden straw color with silvery reflections. The aroma is complex, deep and intense, with notes of honeysuckle, lychee, pineapple and gardenia, enveloped by a subtle influence of wood. On the palate, it shows an unctuous texture, balanced acidity and a long, persistent finish.
