Covela - Rosé Wine

Covela - Rosé Wine, from Quinta de Covela, is a rosé from the Vinho Verde region produced exclusively from Touriga Nacional, one of Portugal's most emblematic red grape varieties. Its production is based on rigorous work in the vineyard and winery, with manual harvesting, transport in small boxes to preserve the integrity of the bunches, and careful selection of the grapes. After total destemming, a gentle pressing and brief skin contact follow, an important step to achieve its aromatic delicacy and attractive peach color. Spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks contributes to a precise and pure profile, while aging on fine lees for five months adds complexity and texture.

In the glass, it reveals itself as clean, refined and elegant, with good aromatic intensity. On the nose, fresh notes of strawberry, raspberry and rose petals stand out, composing a delicate and expressive whole. On the palate, it shows a dry and vibrant acidity, excellent texture and a fresh profile, finishing in a fine and long way.
