Crasto - Red Wine

Crasto - Red Wine is produced by Quinta do Crasto, in the Porto and Douro region, from a blend of Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Barroca. Made with carefully selected grapes, this wine results from a vinification process in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, designed to preserve the purity of the fruit and the expression of the grape varieties. Aging combines mostly stainless steel tanks, with a small percentage in French oak barrels for 6 months, contributing to a balanced and harmonious profile.

In the glass, it presents a dark ruby color and an expressive aroma, marked by notes of fresh red fruits and subtle floral hints, reminiscent of violets. On the palate, it reveals good volume, a solid structure, and polished tannins, well integrated into the whole. The fruit sensations persist throughout the tasting, supported by an appealing freshness that provides balance and vivacity. The finish is persistent and seductive, confirming the elegant and gastronomic character of this Douro red wine.
