Description | DSF Grand Noir - Red Wine
DSF Grand Noir - Red Wine is a single-varietal wine made from the Grand Noir grape variety, a rare variety from the Alentejo region, by José Maria da Fonseca. Produced exclusively with this grape variety, it reveals a strong identity and a distinct profile, true to the expression of the grape and the character of the region.
According to the available information, it fermented in stainless steel vats at 28ºC for 10 days and was bottled after 8 months, without filtration or stabilization. This process contributes to preserving a more natural and authentic record of the wine. It has a deep red color with slight brownish tones and a complex aroma, highlighting notes of dark chocolate, blackberries, violets and figs.
On the palate, it is full of fruit, yet dry and balanced, with good acidity and present tannins. The whole thing finishes with a long aftertaste, confirming the personality of this Alentejo benchmark. An interesting choice for those seeking to experience the unique expression of Grand Noir in a wine with an intense profile and well-defined character.
