Herdade do Peso Parcelas - Red Wine

Herdade do Peso Parcelas - Red Wine is an Alentejo wine with an intense and distinctive profile, created from a careful selection of the best plots of Herdade do Peso. This blend is based on the Alicante Bouschet and Petit Verdot grape varieties, two varieties that contribute to its aromatic depth, structure and character. The harvest is manual, followed by cold maceration and fermentation with controlled temperature, in a process that seeks to preserve the expression of the fruit and the identity of the terroir.

After vinification, the wine ages for 12 months in French oak barrels and remains in the bottle for some time before reaching the market. In the glass, it reveals a very concentrated, almost opaque color, and an aroma marked by notes of blueberry, violet, and a subtle hint of menthol. On the palate, it shows a powerful attack, firm tannins, and vibrant freshness, balancing robustness with elegance. The finish is long and persistent, making this red wine an excellent choice to accompany seasoned meats, game dishes, or intensely flavored cheeses.
