Taylors LBV - Port Wine

Taylor's LBV - Port Wine is a Late Bottled Vintage from the Porto and Douro region, produced by Taylor's from full-bodied red Port wines from a single vintage. According to available information, it results from grapes harvested in 2018, originating from Taylor's own vineyards and benchmark properties in Cima Corgo and Douro Superior. It is a classic style of the house, designed to express concentration, balance and the purity of the fruit, while maintaining the elegance and restraint characteristic of Taylor's.

It presents a vibrant ruby color and an intense aromatic profile, with notes of mocha coffee, strawberry jam, herbs, cedar, fern, and hints of forest floor. On the palate, it reveals itself as austere, structured, and supported by firm tannins, showing depth and persistence. It is a very versatile choice at the table, especially suitable to accompany intensely flavored cheeses, including blue cheeses such as Stilton or Roquefort, as well as chocolate or wild berry desserts. A Port of great character, true to Taylor's Late Bottled Vintage style.
