Vallado Reserve - Red Wine

Vallado Reserva - Red Wine is a benchmark red wine from Quinta do Vallado, in the Porto and Douro region. Produced from old vines over one hundred years old, it brings together a field blend of 34 grape varieties, predominantly Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela, Touriga Franca and Tinta Barroca. This origin gives it great complexity, depth and a profile marked by the Douro identity.

In winemaking, part of the grapes undergoes traditional foot treading in granite lagares, while the remainder ferments in 5-ton stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature and mechanical pump-over for 9 days. This meticulous process results in a full-bodied and structured wine, yet also balanced, with firm, ripe, and silky tannins.

In the glass, it reveals mineral notes that add freshness and dimension to the whole, sustaining an elegant, persistent and complex finish. It is a gastronomic wine, designed for those seeking intensity, character and authenticity, without sacrificing sophistication.
