Vinha do Contador - Red Wine

Vinha do Contador - Red Wine, from Paço dos Cunhas de Santar, is a wine from the Dão and Lafões region made from the Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro and Tinta Roriz grape varieties. Production includes crushing with complete destemming, followed by a prolonged and gentle skin maceration. Alcoholic fermentation takes place at 26ºC, contributing to the definition of its structured and balanced profile.

The 18-month aging process in new French oak barrels adds complexity and depth to the whole. It presents an intense garnet color and a harmonious, elegant, and persistent aromatic and gustatory profile. It is a wine designed for special occasions at the table, pairing particularly well with oven-baked fish, roasted or braised red meats, and aged cheeses.
