Duas Quintas - White Wine

Duas Quintas - White Wine, from Ramos Pinto, is a wine from the Porto and Douro region that expresses the care and precision associated with this historic house. Each harvest results from a meticulous selection of grapes, made after successive tastings in the field, seeking a balance between freshness, ripeness, and elegance. The grapes are gently pressed, and the must is then transferred to underground settling tanks. In vinification, approximately 90% of the batch ferments and ages in stainless steel tanks, while the remaining 10% is aged in French and Austrian oak barrels of various sizes, contributing to a subtle and well-integrated complexity.

In the glass, it presents a pale yellow color, clear and bright, with subtle golden reflections. The aroma is delicate, with sweet floral notes enveloped by a fresh and mineral sensation, reminiscent of wet stone. With oxygenation, hints of ripe fruit and a light smoky touch emerge, giving depth to the whole. On the palate, it is ample and smooth, with the ripe fruit returning harmoniously, supported by a fine acidity that balances it and prolongs the tasting experience. The finish is long, persistent and elegant. It is an excellent choice as an aperitif and pairs very well with fried squid, boiled shrimp or grilled turbot.
